Boo Hoo and Woo Hoo!

My baby is very sick right now :( He's been battling double ear infections for the last week. The last three days he's had a fever; reaching 104 at one point. I took him back to the doctor yesterday and she thinks he's still just trying to combat the ear infections but that his ears look a lot better.
Needless to say, Tavis & I haven't slept much the past few nights. Mostly because Harley doesn't want to be laid down. Unfortunately, when we hold him it just makes him warmer.
Why am I cheering you up with all this, you ask? So you'll know why I'll be scarce the next few days while I tend to Harley and sleep when he sleeps.
On the bright side, I've lost 3 more pounds! YAYAYAYAYAYAY! And I've made some decent money my last 2 shifts and I had a good time doing it! I really LOVE waiting tables. I love to interact with new people. I like to make new friends, of course, but when I'm at work I get to deal with people on a more surfacy level and that's fun too!
I'll still be reading all of you and commenting when I can :)

Sorry to hear about poor Harley. :( It's so hard when the little ones are so sick. I hope he gets feeling better soon.

And Woo Hoo on the 3 pounds and the good times and good money waiting tables.

Oh, a sick baby is the WORST! Breaks your heart right in two, and sets you up for a full psychotic breakdown when the sleep doesn't happen regularly. Hope you're both doing better soon! (And well done, on the whole starving yourself thing!)

Oh no, poor Harley! We've been through that with both kids so I feel your pain. Good luck getting his fever down and I hope his ears look better.

BTW, my daughter's ENT suggested a link between a milk allergy and ear infections and had us switch her to soy for two weeks before he did surgery in case that was it. It wasn't but he said it's very common for kids with a milk allergy to get ear infections. Not to get all preachy, just didn't know if you'd heard of that since I hadn't.

Poor Harley! I HATE it when my kids are sick, even now that they are big! The only thing I did like is that they would cuddle with me. Sad, huh? Sounds like he needs Momma's big soft, warm bed, some snacks, juice and Sprout TV.......

Ahhhh.... I have a recently risen respect for people with kids, especially sick ones.(you know why).. Of course I usually just retreat to my bedroom for about 4 hours of the I.D. channel and wait for the throwing up to subside while dave lays on the couch holding a bucket, but hey... what can i do? they want their daddy lol... OK IT WAS ONLY ONCE!!!!! haha jk..
AnywaysI thought since you comment me I would return the favor...
Oh and ya,,, suffering major sarcasm withdrawals, or personal sarcasm overload.... not sure which.

Ear infections suck, I hope he feels better soon. I'm guessing caring for a sick baby makes you forget you're hungry. 3 lbs is great.
