Boom, Clap, Boom, Dee-Clap, Dee-Clap

OK, I know I'm 33 years old. Just wanted to get that out of the way.

I took my kids to see Hannah Montana the movie the other day. I've seen the TV show a bunch of times and it's goofy but not as bad as a lot of the shows they watch. I really like HM's/Miley Cyrus's music. I think she's soooooo much more talented than her dad.

So the movie. It was So. Good. I'm not even kidding. I LOVED it!!! And of course my kids loved it. Even my ten year old son loved it. When it ended I said, "that was cute." Hayden goes, "CUTE???? That was the BEST!!!"

Now they're with their dad for the rest of the week and I'm wanting to find some more kids so I can go see it again. There's a song she sings called "The Hoedown Throwdown" and I'm pretty much obsessed with it. It's got a cute line dance that goes with it and I will not rest until I've learned it. I've watched this a million times and I've got a pretty good grasp on it. Or you can go here and see the actual music video.

So ya, I know. I'm 33 years old. But every once in a while the 10 year old girl in me wants to get down and boogy.

I was going to make fun of you and mock you, but I went to Britney Spears on Tuesday. You know, Miley's Future.

I'm going to mock both you and Kristina P. hehe

Wow, Kristina. I may have lost all respect. I had free suite tickets to Britney Spears, and skipped it. Yep.

So, Amber, I am going to trust you on this one, because KJ is the world's BIGGEST HM fan, and has been begging me to go see the movie.
To be honest, she's kind of starting to get on my nerves. And yes, I do see her becoming the next Britney Spears/ Lindsey Lohan.
Sad, isn't it?

So, now that my comment is officially longer than your post, I guess I'll go now.
Bye.

Of course, there's a little corner of my psyche where you're perpetually 9 years old anyway. So this comes as no surprise.

Boom Clap Boom??? ----Amber I am worried about you. I am tired of Miley Cyrus, but MY 10 year old loved the movie. Call her up, she'd go with you again. Or call me --we'll both go, I'm immature and have been know to act like a 10 year old (so I've been told by some idiots) HEY, I think Miley's dad is hot ---he doesn't have to sing ya know.

OK - I apologize, I just watched the video . I am boom clapping all over the place. AND I AM AT WORK. Awkward.

My 9 year old wants to see it and she is available for you to take her this weekend.

I judge no one because I love NKOTB.

Since we are relatively new to reading each others blogs and I dont really know you I will do my best not to mock... but just know that if that was not the case I would so be mocking you right now!

Just SO said...

We will go and see this when it hits the dollar show. But not before then. Then we will probably buy it on dvd.

Hmm, before I mock you I might want to see it for myself. I can't really talk since I'm usually sitting there watching Blues Clues or Barney long after the kids have wandered away.

Hey, I think I have a pair of clogging shoes you can dust off and borrow...te he he! ;) I must admit that I use HM songs for about 80% of my dances. My students LOVE them and they are “clean”, which these day’s, songs like that are hard to find! (btw...don't tell Brayden I caught him and his other 16 yr old friends watching it the other day)

My daughter went to the BS concert (haha), and LOVED it. Really loved it. She said it was a fantastic concert.

I saw Miley on American Idol on Wednesday, and I have to say that she was awful. Worse than some of those who sang last night. They must do some good work in the studio to make her sound so darn good.
