Clarification

It may appear that I'm sad/depressed about my guilt list. Let me clear that up for you. I'm not. Yes, I do have plenty of things I feel guilty about but I don't wallow in them for very long. I only feel guilty about those things when I think of them, which isn't often. And, oddly enough, the guilt quickly leaves. These are only glimpses of guilt. There are only a few things on that list that I actually intend to do anything about. Fixing dinner, be a better house keeper, go to church, visit parents. The rest are things I'm probably never going change and I'm over it.

So now you can all sleep better. I know worrying about me has kept you up nights. I appreciate it, but, really...I'm just fine!

PS You'll notice the obscene amounts of time I spend texting didn't make the list. Maybe it should have? Oh great. Now I feel guilty for texti...wait...I'm over it. See how that works?

I really appreciate your clearing this up, because frankly I thought the whole 'list of things you feel guilty about' sounded like code for 'suicide note template'. And then I felt guilty for not worrying about it, you know, just assuming I'd hear how things worked out from the executor of your estate when he called to tell me I had inherited your quilting machine. Which I would then feel guilty about selling to finance my increasingly alarming Reese's Peanut Butter tree/egg/groundhog/heart/shamrock habit. So thank you, little sis. I will, in fact, sleep better now.

...and I'm the one who deleted the first comment. Too many typos...

Phew. Now I can sleep tonight! Actually, no I can't since my kid won't be sleeping either. I'm glad you're not harboring too much guilt since there's no point. :)

Now your talking Amber ---just let it go --let it go. My therpist keeps telling me that. Don't hang on to the guilt. ahhh, breathe, are you feeling better now-----if not, don't feel guilty about it, you soon will.

Guilt, schmilt. You quilt? (Yeah, totally going for the rhyming thing, sorry. I'm known for that quirk.) Do you quilt? If you do, I would love to see some pictures. My mom is a quilter so I really do envy people who can do that.

Great, Now I have to go find something else to keep me up late at night worrying. Thanks for taking it away from me, and I thought you were my friend.
