If you were a one-year-old where would you hide the remote?
And don't say couch cushions, we've checked there. Twice.

In a drawer? Good luck!
Garbage can.
Our remote has been taken out to the recycle bin in a stack of newspapers. Twice. It's gone, little sister. Grieve, and move on.
Have you tried the refrigerator??
Diaper, under/over the couch, trash is always a good one, and my kids love the frig.
Ours ended up in the recycle bin just like DeNae's. Luckily, we caught it before it left us.
Yep, it's definitely the trash. I've lost more portable phones that way ...
Once you find it let me know...maybe my TWO ipod shuffles that I use for running are in the same place. Carsen is FOUR….you would think he could lead me right to them. Been missing for almost 2months now. Have you ever tried to run 2 miles without music??? IT SUCKS!
Good luck with the remote. It really is lame to have to get up to turn up the volume, change the channel and then you can’t even see what’s on next. LAME.
Somewhere no one would expect. Try the freezer, or the pantry, or outside somewhere. Just dont expect it to be in the same room as the TV!
In the toilet.
But I'd check the garbage or recycle bin first. :)
OMG - the timing of this couldn't be better! I took Sissy for a ride on the 4 wheeler, came in the house and set the key on the end table. Within minutes it was gone. 2 days searching for it. TWO DAYS!!! Found it in the spice drawer where Sissy had very thoughtfully put it away!
Check your spice drawer....
That is funny. My kids use to play "Hide Mom's Keys". Whenever I had to leave it would take me 15 minutes to find where they put my keys. They are brats.
Places I've found my lost remotes:
Heat registers, pantry floor, sock drawer (in a bedroom on a different floor from the where the remote belonged), in the child-proofed cupboard where we keep the DVD's.
good luck!
